Use Vitamin D Against Swine Flu

There is solid evidence that people become sick in the winter with more colds and flues primarily because their vitamin D blood levels are lower. Less sunlight results in less vitamin D. This hypothesis was first suggested by Dr. Hope-Simpson in the 1980s. 2,000 IU of vitamin D3 should be taken to help increase your vitamin D levels. Ask your physician to check your blood levels to ensure you are getting enough. I personally take 5,000 IU of vitamin D3 daily. It appears that vitamin C will have to move over for vitamin D!
